18 Summers

Updated: Jun 22, 2020

Sort of like a short-term bucket list, each year our family creates a “Summer Checklist.” It is a fun way for the whole family to set short-term goals together and live intentionally to pursue a purpose everyone can get excited about!

When you live in the Midwest, summer is very short-lived and can fly by in the blink of an eye. As our kids began to get a little older I also realized that the number of summers we have together truly isn’t very many (18 at most, if they continue to think you're "cool" into their teen years). So I wanted to start being more intentional about how we spent our warm weather months before they quickly passed us by. This is why I've created the Seasonal Checklist. It is a quick and easy way to intentionally focus on family activities for three months at a time, and it is available to you as a FREE download!

At the end of the summer, you’ll have a record of all the fun things you’ve done together! NOTE: We use this method for planning our summers, but you can easily apply this to any season of the year: winter, spring, summer, or fall. Each season is beautiful in its own way! Happy Planning!
